Saico Musical Box 'Deer at Feeder'

For many of us, a music box is one of the most beautiful childhood memories . Especially at Christmas time, the delicate melodies of the musical instruments sounded in the Christmas parlors. They have enchanted entire generations.

To ensure that the animals do not starve in winter, there are feeding troughs in many places in the forest, filled by forest workers or children with hay and other tasty things, such as chestnuts. The "deer with feeding trough" motif is one of the most popular winter and Christmas decorations in the Ore Mountains. 

Music boxes from the Ore Mountains are traditionally small miniature worlds and true masterpieces of craftsmanship. They have been lovingly handcrafted in small factories since the 18th century.  

The music box plays "O Tannenbaum" ("O Christmas Tree").
