In 2025, the Bauer family, immigrants from Austria to the United States, acquired EuropeanDeli.com, an online retailer of gourmet specialty foods, imported from Europe, along with MostlyChocolate.com.

EuropeanDeli.com is a leading importer of specialties from Germany and throughout Europe, providing items, which are hard to find at local markets, available to consumers who seek the foods they enjoyed while living and traveling in Europe. 

With the exception of one other registered company, EuropeanDeli.com is the registered importer and official source Lebkuchen Schmidt in the United States. 

In addition, the online retailer will offer traditional holiday specialties from Asbach Uralt Brandy Chocolates, Reber Chocolate Specialties from Germany. They also feature delicacies from Austria, Italy, Denmark, Sweden, France and selected specialty items from the United States.

EuropeanDeli.com and MostlyChocolate.com offer custom services, such as gift wrapping and handwritten greeting cards. Both English and German speaking customer service representatives are available to handle orders and answer questions.

The Bauer Family, a long time wine producing and importing family, Wein-Bauer, Inc (www.weinbauer.com) is an active member of the German American Chamber of Commerce where they partners with Christmas Markets across the country. Manfred Bauer left his families wine cellar in 1980, with his wife Gabriel, where their only goal was to show the United States what their little town in Austria had to offer! Today, Manfred and Gabriel's children, Sabrina and Christopher are proudly carrying the family legacy on. Millie (Christopher's daughter) and Jacob (Sabrina's son), are the official quality control kids of European Deli.
