Black Forest Girl Broad Egg Noodles are wonderful broad egg noodles (Pappardella), produced in the Black Forest region. They are a good source of protein, and are low in fat/saturated fat. These noodles can be used in a variety of ways but are especially great for holding creamy sauces. Also perfect side dish for stews or noodles topped with ham and cheese (Schinkenfleckerl).

Ingredients: Durum wheat semolina, pasteurized whole eggs, salt.

Preparation: Bring 3 quarts water and 1 tablespoon salt to rapid boil. Add noodles. Boil uncovered, stirring occasionally, about 6-8 minutes or until noodles are tender. Drain; rinse with hot water and drain again.
