The Seiffener Kirche , or as it is officially called, Bergkirche Seiffen, is the Evangelical Lutheran church in the municipality of Seiffen in the Erzgebirgskreis in Saxony . It is the symbol of the place and a popular motif of the Erzgebirge folk art .

The Seiffen church stands on a mountain ledge in the center of the village. According to tradition, a small chapel stood here for the first time around 1570, which was demolished in the spring of 1776 because it was dilapidated. The new church was built from 1776 to 1779 with an octagon floor plan. Above the entrance of the church, acting as a testimony of piety the miners is valid, there is the dedicatory inscription: "For the glory of God and for the salvation of men". On the church's weather vane there is a cast bronze miner figure, which refers to the tin mining industry, which Seiffen owes its existence to.

The church shines a lovely light against the window with the LED bulb which is included.
