For many people, brown gingerbread is the original gingerbread, the delicious sweet original made from fresh dough. They contain at least 50 parts sugar, honey or other sweeteners for every 100 parts cereal flour products and/or starch. Oilseeds are not found in brown gingerbread, but many spices such as aniseed, cardamom, allspice or cinnamon are.
For our Allerlei, we have processed only the highest quality ingredients into a dough and made small sweet bites in various shapes: Hearts, rocking horses, Christmas trees or keys. After baking, we glazed the delicacies and then packaged them well. As brown gingerbread is often rather hard at first, it's best to buy it as soon as the gingerbread season starts so that you can enjoy it before Christmas.
