Lebkuchen Schmidt Elisen Queen is a Nuremberg gingerbread specialty with a whole milk chocolate coating and chocolate flakes. The recipe contains 40% hazelnuts, almonds and walnuts. There is no flour in the dough, but the wafer contains wheat flour. This variety was Schmidt's 2021 Lebkuchen of the Year.
