SeaBear Smoked Sockeye Salmon, Portion Size
P60117455
Regular price $9.95Share the legendary flavor of the Pacific Northwest - Since 1957 the highly prized wild Sockeye Smoked salmon has been the flagship of the SeaBear line. They start with wild salmon, and fillet by hand. Distinctive in its rich red color, robust flavor, and succulent tender flakes, their traditional smoked Sockeye salmon offers the quintessential wild Northwest smoked salmon experience.
Your Northwest style smoked salmon comes in gift boxed, and is the perfect size for stocking stuffers, gift baskets, or a snack.

The King salmon is caught wild, hand-filleted and traditionally smoked over a blend of fruitwoods and hardwoods. Each fillet has been sealed in our Gold Seal™ Pouch, and then gently cooked in its own juices. This preserves the salmon naturally, so NO REFRIGERATION IS REQUIRED until the pouch is opened.

Seabear Wild Sockeye Smoked Salmon (Traditional )
P60117090
Regular price $21.95Wild Alaskan Smoked Sockeye Salmon is renown world wide as the best wild salmon on earth due to its deep red color and exceptionally high oil content. This signature smoked salmon fillet is vacuum-sealed in their famous Gold Seal pouch, then gently cooked in its own juices - this preserves the salmon naturally, so no refrigeration is required until you're ready to serve. Kosher certified.
This SeaBear smoked wild Alaskan salmon is fully cooked and ready-to-serve. Simply place the fillet on a serving plate (they recommend pouring the natural oils in the pouch back over the salmon), and offer with whatever condiments you like; crackers or crostini, cream cheese, chopped red onion, sliced cheese, sliced apple (or other fruits), and sliced vegetables. Or, try adding smoked wild Alaskan salmon to pasta, a salad, baked potato, stir-fry or omelet.
In 1957, Anacortes, Washington fisherman Tom Savidge and his wife Marie built a backyard smokehouse and began selling smoked wild salmon to local taverns. With that, Specialty Seafoods (later renamed SeaBear after a Native American legend) was born. The tavern owners loved Tom's smoked salmon, but asked him to preserve it longer. Tom answered their request with a whole new idea in packaging: The Gold Seal™ pouch, which preserves the salmon naturally, so no refrigeration is required. This innovation (for which he received a patent) made it easy for anyone traveling through the Northwest to take salmon back home, or to ship it to family and friends.
