Normally I would wait to leave a review. However, this does need to be addressed. My order was supposed to be shipped Nov 3rd. At this point I do not know if it shipped or not. On Oct 23rd, surprisingly something was delivery. Unfortunately, it was a shipment that was supposed to go to another customer. After emails and a phone call I was asked to ship it back to EuroDeli via UPS and assured that mine would go out on the desired date. Accomodating EuroDeli, driving around and going out of my way, this was done to correct their mistake. Even though, I continue to wait on my order and have no updates having to call after them having the run around (called and emailed Bettina several times). On the app, it looks as if I received my order. Nobody is capable to give me an UPS tracking number, update me if my order is actually going to come despite the fact that on their website ‘we are fully stocked with Schmidt products.’
The experience is frustrating and exhausting. Customer service is lacking. There is no follow-up or attention to detail. And it isn’t that I only ordered one item. Though it should not matter because ordering especially gingerbread of this kind, usually means ordering nostalgic items that remind of home, comfort and bring the holidays closer. This however, was a fail. As a repeat customer, I will not order again. Maybe a change in ownership was not a good idea and I will reconsider ordering from Schmidt directly. What a disappointing experience.

I bought this for my wife as a part of her Christmas. She was an “army brat” and spent some time being stationed in Germany. She absolutely loved it!
