I just got this mug today, and I'm excited to use it tonight! Seems to be pretty good quality with a very secure wooden handle. My main reason for leaving this review is to make a couple of notes to hopefully help others.. (especially perfectionists like me ^_~ )
1) My mug came with random white dots on the blue part of the cup. These are not scrapes, but is actually something like paint splatter(?) just on top of the blue paint and can be removed without damage. I used my fingernail to carefully scrape it off because I knew that wouldn't scratch the ceramic. It does take some pressure, but it works.
2) There were also some leftover wood fragments in the bottom opening of the handle. The handle end of the metal spoon actually fits perfectly in there. It's rounded, but not completely blunted - so it makes the perfect tool. I was able to clean it up very easily that way. It couldn't be felt when holding the cup, but it looks better with that small bit of cleanup.
Hope that helps if you get one like mine!
