Sourdough has a long history in Germany. Seitenbacher has made this Natural Sourdough for many years with German whole grain rye in their factories in Buchen City and Wallduern City, about 1 hour east of Heidelberg, Germany.
Seitenbacher Sourdough is a natural liquid sourdough (no powder) for use into home baked bread. It is used to give flavor, longer shelf life, and makes the bread easier to digest. It is the ideal ingredient for traditonal German Sourdough Bread because it is real sourdough, not a flavor or aroma product.
Store in the refrigerator, warm before use.
