Wood Carved Colored Bird Decorative Ornaments

These Spring Bird ornaments are hand-made by a family owned company in the Erzgebirge Region of Germany.  The Birds will hand beautifully from your window or from your Easter Tree for festive decoration.   

For 27 years, stunning candle arches have been created by Tietze Schwibbögen in Zwönitz in the German Ore Mountains. Working with wood runs in the family of the company's founder Elke Tietze: Her parents founded a company that produced wooden pet articles such as lovely bird houses. In 1988, it was the daughter that founded today's Tietze Erzgebirgsdesign, formerly known as „Elke Tietze - Erzgebirgische Volkskunst”.

Every wood piece by Tietze tells its own little story which fascinates children and adults alike. We will be carrying additional items from them for Christmas.
