Staud's Sweet Cherry Fruit Compote

Compote or compôte (French for mixture) is a dessert originating from medieval Europe, made of whole or pieces of fruit in sugar syrup. Staud's uses the simplest ingredients in the creation of their fruit compote. In this sweet cherry syrup there are three basic ingredients cherries, sugar and water.

Founded in 1883 in the Austro-Hungarian Monarchy as a fruit and vegetable wholesaler. Knowledge, intuition and passion for the craft and interaction with nature were passed on from generation to generation.
